Monmouth College students inducted into honor society

MONMOUTH, Ill. – A total of eight
Monmouth College students were recently inducted into the college’s
Kappa Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication honor
society.
Seniors Josh Sonnenburg and Heather Weber, and juniors A.J.
Bartoluzzi, Emily Eddington, Kyle Gibbs, Marissa Kratochvil,
Michelina Matozzi and Anthony Welty were accepted into membership
earlier this month.
Induction into the society is restricted to students who have
attained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, a communication GPA of at
least 3.25, completed at least 60 semester hours and 12 semester
hours of communication study, and who are in the top 35 percent of
their class.
Monmouth College was one of the first
10 colleges in the nation to have a Lambda Pi Eta charter. There are
now nearly 300 chapters at colleges and universities in the United
States.
