Brazil is topic of next Great Decisions forum Release Date:
February 1, 2006
MONMOUTH, Ill. — Amy de Farias, assistant professor history at Monmouth
College, will be the discussion leader for the next Great Decisions program,
“Brazil,” on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Tartan Room in the college’s Stockdale
Center.
The public is invited to participate in the free series, which is sponsored by
the Foreign Policy Association, a non-partisan, non-governmental association
that works to increase Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy
issues.
A 30-minute overview by de Farias will begin the program, which will also
include one hour of group discussion. The program will be the fourth in the
eight-week series, which concludes March 15. For more information, contact Ira
