Great Decisions topics include human rights, U.S-Iran

MONMOUTH, Ill. — Judi Kessler, assistant professor of sociology and
anthropology, and associate dean of students Mohsin Masood will be the
discussion leaders for the next two Great Decisions programs at Monmouth
College.
On Feb. 22, Kessler will introduce the topic of “Human Rights in an Age of
Terrorism,” and Masood will lead the discussion on “The U.S. and Iran” on March
1. Both programs will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Tartan Room in the college’s
Stockdale Center.
The public is invited to participate in the free series, which is sponsored by
the Foreign Policy Association, a non-partisan, non-governmental association
that works to increase Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy
issues.
Both Great Decisions programs will be prefaced by a 30-minute overview, which
will be followed by one hour of group discussion. For more information, contact
