Fitzpatrick, Daugherty hired to fill student affairs vacancies at MC

MONMOUTH, Ill. — Monmouth College has hired Joseph Fitzpatrick and
Carol Daugherty to fill two vacant positions in its office of student
affairs.
Fitzpatrick has accepted the position of assistant director of residence
life, replacing Ken Morris, who was recently named director of
intercultural life at Cornell College.
A graduate of the College of Santa Fe, Fitzpatrick served his alma mater
in several roles, most recently as director of residence life.
The Joliet, Ill., native began his duties, which also include the hall
director responsibilities at Founders Village, on Jan. 17.
Daugherty comes to Monmouth from California, where she worked for the
University of California’s Lawrence-Livermore Laboratories.
The Galesburg native, who succeeds longtime student affairs secretary
Carolyn Tinkham, has many years of experience as an administrative
assistant and office manager.
