Central Asia is topic of MC’s next Great Decisions

MONMOUTH, Ill. — Bill French, a Monmouth College junior from Oak Park, and
political science professor Ira Smolensky will be the discussion leaders for the
next Great Decisions program, “Central Asia,” on March 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the
Tartan Room in the college’s Stockdale Center.
The public is invited to participate in the free series, which is sponsored by
the Foreign Policy Association, a non-partisan, non-governmental association
that works to increase Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy
issues.
French and Smolensky will preface the program with a 30-minute overview, which
will be followed by one hour of group discussion. The program will be the
seventh in the nine-week series, which concludes March 28. For more information,
