Bledsoe to deliver annual Martin Luther King

MONMOUTH, Ill. —
Tyrone Bledsoe, founder and CEO of Student African American Brotherhood
(SAAB), will be the featured speaker Jan. 22 at a Monmouth College
luncheon in memory of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
The program, which is free and open to the public, will begin at noon
in the Whiteman-McMillan Highlander Room of the Stockdale Center. An
optional lunch is available for $7.50. Reservations for the meal or

Bledsoe, who will speak on the topic "Emerging Black Leadership of
the 21st-Century United States," founded SAAB on the campus of Georgia
Southwestern State University in 1990. SAAB was established specifically
to assist its participants in excelling academically, socially,
culturally, professionally and in the community. Its motto is "Saving
lives, salvaging dreams."
An authority on leadership and motivation, Bledsoe targets the areas
of diversity, African-American male development and character
development. Through his consulting firm "2 Care Unlimited," he is known
for his exciting and dynamic motivational presentations.
