MONMOUTH, Ill. — Monmouth College chef Kim Fornero has long
provided delicious meals for those who attend the monthly Monmouth Associates
luncheons on campus. This month, Fornero will also be the featured speaker, as
he will present the program on Nov. 20 at noon in the Whiteman-McMillan
Highlander Room of the Stockdale Center.
Titled "The Experience of a Lifetime: Beijing, China and the
Olympics," Fornero will discuss his second opportunity to work at a
Summer Olympics. His first came during the 2004 Games in Athens, Greece,
and he was invited back this year through ARAMARK, Monmouth College’s
food service provider, which also handles those services for the
Olympics.
The program is free; a buffet lunch costs $9. Reservations can be
made by calling 309-457-2316 by Nov. 17, by e-mailing
mcarwile@monm.edu or by going
online at

A free shuttle van will transport passengers from downtown to all
luncheons. The van leaves from the northeast quadrant of the Public
