ROGER SANDER (Monmouth '78)
begins his 15th season as men's baseball coach at Monmouth, where he also serves
as assistant men's basketball coach and the college's equipment manager.

Kafka is MWC Performer of the Week
April 2, 2007
Monmouth College senior Jeremy Kafka (Huntley, Ill./Huntley) hit
.667 last week and was rewarded with the Midwest Conference
Performer of the Week honor in baseball.
Kafka picked up three hits in each of the Fighting Scots two
games last week and raised his average to .444. The rightfielder
drove in two runs as Monmouth posted wins over Eureka and Iowa
Wesleyan. He also produced an .889 slugging percentage for the week.
An art major, Kafka is the son of Paul and Margaret Kafka of
Huntley.

ROGER SANDER (Monmouth '78)
begins his 14th season as men's baseball coach at Monmouth, where he also serves
as equipment manager. In 2002, Sander guided the Fighting Scots to the
team's 10th conference title in the past 20 years and the team's first NCAA Regional appearance since 1983.
DOUG WINEBRIGHT
(Iowa State '69) returns as third base and hitting coach for the
Fighting Scots. His previous assignments have including coaching stints
at both the college and high school level as well as American Legion and
Babe Ruth summer leagues. He will handle third base and outfield coaching duties.
HOME FIELD
The Scots play their home games at Glasgow Field in the Peacock Memorial Athletic Park
complex, which is located at the corner of north 11th and US 34.
