Four All-Conference medalists
paced Monmouth to another second-place finish at the MWC Conference Meet at Cornell (Mt.
Vernon,IA). Sophomore Frank Schweda and junior Matt Jenkins both ran in the top five and
the Scots placed two more in the top fifteen as the men finished only 16 points behind
defending champion Grinnell. Schweda finished second in the 8000m race for MC's best
finish since 1992. Junior Bob Strabley placed 10th and freshman Michael Golub was the
second frosh overall in 13th place.
