June 26th & 27th (Friday & Saturday), Monmouth College will be hosting their 5th annual summer shoot-out for high school girl’s basketball teams. All games will be played in our new $22 million dollar Huff Athletic Facility and adjacent Glennie Performance Gymnasium where all Fighting Scot basketball games are held. There will be a 30 team capacity so reserve your spot soon! Entry fee will be $245 (due by May 1), and registration will not be processed until money is received. This will affect your preferences, which may only be honored if entry fee is in prior to the deadline! Each team will be given a 4 game guarantee along with a spot in the single elimination tournament.

Friday games 4:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday games 9:00am-5:00pm
(If distance is a problem and you prefer to play later on Friday, please indicate on your registration form!)

• Two 20 minutes halves (clock stopping the last two minutes of the 2^nd half only, unless the point spread is 10 or more points).
• Games start on the hour.
• Free throws will be granted on all shooting fouls. Two free throws will be awarded on the 10^th common foul of each half. There is NO one-and-one foul shooting. Only shooting fouls and common fouls on the 10^th and greater will result in foul shots.
• Each team will receive 2 timeouts per game and one for each overtime period. Timeouts do not carry over.
• Overtime period will be 2 minutes and the clock will stop.
• Technical fouls will be treated normally. 2 shots and the ball out of bounds.
• Single-elimination tournament rules the same except for one 20 minute half will be played.

• There will be two registered referees per court per game.
• Each team receives 10 tournament t-shirts
• Head coach receives Monmouth College Fighting Scot travel mug
• Free lunch voucher to the concession stand for head coach
• A certified athletic trainer will be available onsite.
• Concessions will be offered both days of play
• We do our best to create balanced competition!
