ROGER HAYNES enters his 27th season as the outdoor track & field coach at Monmouth and his 11th as the head coach of the women's program. Under Haynes' direction, Monmouth's track program has experienced unparalleled success. The dominant team in the Midwest Conference since 1990, the Fighting Scots men have won 16 of the last 20 outdoor track & field conference titles.

Monmouth's men have won 257 outdoor individual and relay conference titles and the program can claim six national champions, 124 NCAA Outdoor National Championship qualifiers and 53 outdoor All-Americans. A former school record holder in the high jump, Haynes graduated from Monmouth in 1982 and still holds the college record in the javelin throw (205'8"). In 2007, Haynes was named the Division III Men's National Coach of the Year for the indoor season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
