Monmouth made it four straight men's outdoor track and field team trophies and seven consecutive overall with its victory at St. Norbert.  The Scots were led by senior Dennis Staggs, who set a meet record in 110H, and won the 400H.  Fellow seniors Jim Hardesty, and Jeromy Hogan took first place finishes, Hardesty in the discus, and Hogan in the high jump.  The Scots claimed the top three spots in the shot with Chris Sondegeroth leading the way with a throw of 16.20, followed by Eric Holmes, and Bob Lindstrom.  Other top finishers for the Scots were Toby Vallas, and Rich Johnson finishing one-two in the 400M.  Sophomore Justin Bryant finished second in both the 100 and 200 yd. dash.  Matt Beverly contributed by taking second in the 100M.  In the javelin Chris Ferron, and Jim Hardesty again took the top two spots with Chris throwing a best of 52.81.  In the pole vault, Aaron Walker had a first place finish with a jump of 13-6.
