The Fighting Scot women finished
third overall in the MWC track & field championships, held at Monmouth
College. Senior Amanda Colgan claimed top finishes for the Scots
finishing first in the javelin, second in the discus, and fourth in the
shot. Jaime Jones took first place in the high jump. Elise
Estes finished second in the 100, and third in the 200. Julie Larson
had two third place finishes in the 100, and the long jump, and also had a
fifth place finish in the triple jump. Maggie Semington also
contributed by finishing first in the 400 M Int. H, and seventh in the
100. |
