There
has never been a better time to be a student-athlete at Monmouth
College.
The
baseball and soccer facilities opened in 2000, a national
meet-caliber track was used for the first time in 2001, and six tennis courts and practice fields for the football team received
their first use in the fall of 2002.
The $22 million
Huff Athletic Center includes an indoor track, indoor
tennis courts, a fitness center, classrooms, a climbing wall and a natatorium, in addition to a
renovated gymnasium.
In the
new millennium, Fighting Scots' athletic teams have excelled
on the
playing field, capturing conference championships in men's and women's
track, baseball, men's soccer and men's and women's golf, as well as
achieving record win totals in softball and volleyball.
