Full Named Special Teams Player of the Week

Sophomore kicker Andy Full (Sublette, Ill./Amboy) has been named the Midwest Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.

The sophomore kicker had never had a chance to hit a game-winning field goal in his high school or college career until last Saturday when he split the uprights from 30 yards out to give the Fighting Scots a 26-23 win over Beloit. The winning field goal came with 1:18 left to play and capped an eight-play, 43-yard drive.

Full, who also had an extra point in the game, is fourth in scoring on the team with nine points.

The victory gives the Scots a 2-0 mark on the young season, the first 2-0 start since 1989.
