Quarterback Rob Purlee (Mt. Carroll, IL/HS) has
been named the Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
The sophomore quarterback threw four touchdown passes and
completed 12-of-20 passes for 251 yards as the Scots defeated Eureka 45-12 in their
season opener on Sept. 1.
Purlee, who
was not sacked and threw no interceptions, passed for TDs of 30, 13, 12 and 6 yards. He
had a long completion of 50 yards and an efficiency rating of 251.0.
