Trio Named All - MWC
Three of Monmouth College’s six
golfers competing at last weekend’s Midwest Conference women’s golf meet were named
All-Midwest Conference.
Junior Molly McNamara (Alexis,
Ill./HS) led the trio, finishing second after carding a 172 for the 36-hole event.
Sophomore Amy Rassman (New
Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way) edged senior teammate Michelle Vazquez (Waukegan,
Ill./HS) in a playoff for ninth place after both checked in with final round scores of
192.
McNamara and Rassman each collected
their second All-MWC honor.
As a team Monmouth finished as the
conference runner-up for the second straight year. The MWC meet was held at Rainbow
Springs Golf Course in Mukwonago, Wis.
