Glasgow Becomes 18th Member of the Fighting Scots' 1.000-Point Club

With a first-half three-point shot, Monmouth College’s Steve Glasgow joined an exclusive group of Fighting Scots players Jan. 19 in Waukesha, Wis.

The basket put the former Galesburg High School star over 1,000 points in his career, and he went on to finish the game with a season-high 25 points as Monmouth defeated Carroll College 93-82.

Glasgow entered the game with 993 points, and he reached the milestone on a three-pointer that put his team ahead 19-11 with 13:18 remaining in the first half. By finishing the victory with 25 points, Glasgow reached 1,018 points in his collegiate career with eight games remaining. He scored 310 as a freshman, 268 as a sophomore and 254 last season.
