MONMOUTH,
Ill. –Monmouth College sophomore Zach Barr (Roseville, Ill./HS)
turned in his best cross country performance of the year and was
named the Midwest Conference Cross Country Co-Performer of the Week.
Barr scorched the 8K course at Augustana
College's Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Friday, turning in a
12th-place time of 25:37.
It was the best 8K time of his collegiate
career by nearly a minute and the second-best time ever run by a
Fighting Scot for that distance.
St. Norbert’s Colin McKean shared the
Performer of the Week honor with Barr.
