MONMOUTH, Ill. – Monmouth College’s senior tandem of quarterback Rob Purlee (Mt. Carroll, Ill./HS) and wide receiver Jason Killion (Jacksonville, Ill./HS) teamed up for an aerial show in a 41-14 victory over Beloit and have been named the Midwest Conference Co-Offensive Performers of the Week in football.

Killion tied the school record buy hauling in three TD passes covering 10, 68 and 51yards, respectively. His 68-yard reception posted Monmouth to a 21-7 halftime lead. For the day, Killion finished with three catches good for a team-high 129 yards.

Purlee nearly set a school record with 374 passing yards, just nine shy of the school mark. He completed 18 of 25 attempts with one interception. His four TD tosses in the game rank him second in the record book.
