MC’s Betourne earns baseball
Performer of the Week honor

 MONMOUTH,
Ill. – Monmouth College’s Alan Betourne (Washington, Ill./HS) has
been red hot this spring and has been rewarded with the Midwest
Conference Performer of the Week honor in baseball.
Betourne is hitting .400 through March.
Among the junior first baseman’s 18 total hits are three triples and
nine RBI’s. His defense has also been solid as evidenced by a .990
fielding percentage.
A physical education major, Betourne is the
son of Alan and Armetha Betourne of Washington.
