MONMOUTH,
Ill. – Monmouth College’s Chad Scott (Pontiac, Ill./HS) has earned
his second Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honor in men’s
golf.
The senior had an impressive effort Saturday
at the 12-team Monmouth Invitational. Scott’s one-under par 70 at
Gibson Woods earned him runner-up honors in the field, and his total
helped the host team finish third.
Scott carded a six-under 29 on the front
nine en route to his second-place finish.
A political science major, Scott is the son
of Therese Scott and Tom Scott, both of Pontiac.
