Monmouth College’s Horneck is MWC Performer of the Week

MONMOUTH, Ill. – A seven-point performance by Monmouth College’s Amy Horneck in the Scots’ 6-0 win over Illinois College was good enough to earn Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer Performer of the Week honors on offense for the junior forward from Hermiston, Ore.

Horneck tied her own Monmouth record for single-game assists with three in the contest (on each of the Scots’ first three goals), and she scored a pair of goals in the second half. Her seven-point outburst lifted her career total to 85, breaking the school record of 79.

A chemistry major, she is the daughter of Donald and Victoria Horneck of Hermiston.
