MONMOUTH, Ill. – Three Monmouth College
softball players were recently honored by the Midwest Conference
coaches.
The three seniors - shortstop Nicole Auclair
(Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South), pitcher/second baseman Heather
Burrows (Lewistown, Ill./HS) and third baseman Michelle Meyer
(Mapleton, Ill./Illini Bluffs) - were named to the All-Conference
team.
Auclair earned her third All-MWC honor while

Burrows picked up her second selection to

with their lineup. Burrows, who didn’t go out for the team until her
junior year, led the team in hits (32) and total bases (42).
Named to the team for the second consecutive
year was Meyer. The veteran third baseman turned in team-leading
performances in runs scored (26) and walks (20). Both Meyer and
Burrows led the team in games played (34).
