MC's Welty honored by Midwest Conference

MONMOUTH, Ill. – Monmouth College’s Anthony Welty (Dixon, Ill./Newman Catholic) has been tabbed the Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.

Welty ran a strong race at the Bradley Open last week finishing 29th in the field of primarily Division I runners.

The senior’s time of 26:47 placed him 12th in team scoring. His 8K time is the season’s best in the Midwest Conference.
