Justin Zigler was named to the Football Gazette and D3football.com "Team of the Week"

MONMOUTH, Ill. – Senior linebacker Justin Zigler (Tampico, Ill./ Prophetstown) was named to the Football Gazette and D3football.com "Team of the Week" for his brilliant performance in Monmouth's 35-27 victory at Carroll College on Oct. 29.

Zigler was in on 18 tackles, including 10 solo stops, and he recorded two quarterback sacks. In all, he had three tackles for loss for minus 13 yards. Zigler, who has 109 stops on the season, is two tackles away from tying the single-season record at Monmouth.

A physical education major, Zigler is the son of Steve and Brenda Zigler of Tampico.
