MONMOUTH,
Ill. –Monmouth College senior outside hitter Karissa Murray
(Hometown, Ill./Oak Lawn) led the Fighting Scots to a 4-0 week and
earned the season’s first Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
honor in volleyball.
Murray was a dominant force in the Fighting Scots four wins. Her 52
kills, 3.47 kills per game average and .257 attack percentage led
the Scots in each category. In addition, Murray finished the week by
being named to the Monmouth College Invitational all-tournament
team.
An education major, Murray is the daughter of Wendy Murray of
Hometown.
