Scots’ Palkovic named MWC Performer
of the Week

MONMOUTH,
Ill. – Monmouth College junior kicker/punter Nathan Palkovic
(Peoria, Ill./Woodruff) finished the season in style and was
rewarded with the Midwest Conference Special Teams Performer of the
Week honor.
Palkovic scored more points in the Fighting Scots’ 41-6 win over
arch rival Knox than the Prairie Fire, accounting for 10 points with
four extra points and two field goals. His first field goal, a
42-yarder, is tied for the third-longest in school history. He was
perfect on the day in PATs, finishing the year 30-of-31. He averaged
41.5 yards on four punts and placed three of them inside the Knox
20-yard line.
A physical education major, he is the son of Michael and Donna
Palkovic of Peoria.
