MC’s Stacey is MWC Performer of the
Week

 MONMOUTH,
Ill. – Monmouth College sophomore Brandon Stacey (Galesburg,
Ill./Galesburg) helped the Fighting Scots to a 2-1 record last week
and earned his first Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honor
in men’s tennis.
Stacey was a combined 5-1 as Monmouth played three matches in less
that 24 hours last weekend. He finished with a 2-1 record at No. 1
singles and teamed with Jared Kunkle to complete the week 3-0 at No.
1 doubles. The Scots played Central, Illinois Wesleyan and Wheaton
and lost only to Wheaton, improving to 3-4 on the year.
A sophomore exploratory major, Stacey is the son of Greg and Dana
Stacey of Galesburg.
