MC’s Korb is MWC Performer of the
Week

MONMOUTH,
Ill. – Monmouth College freshman Kyle Korb (Quincy, Ill./Quincy)
helped the Fighting Scots to a 3-1 record last week and earned his
first Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honor in men’s
tennis.
Playing in Orlando, Fla., Korb posted a combined 7-1 match record.
Playing at No. 4 singles, he posted victories over Ferrum, Moravian,
Christopher Newport and Salve Regina.
Korb teamed with Kevin Kamenjarin at No. 2 doubles as the Scots
defeated Christopher Newport, the No. 9 ranked team in the Atlantic
South Region, 4-3. He has won six straight singles matches while the
Scots have equaled their highest win total (9) in school history.
A business major, Korb is the son of Gerald and Loree Korb of
Quincy.
