Plenty of hoops at MC Thanksgiving weekend Release Date:

MONMOUTH, Ill.
– Basketball
junkies will be able to get their fix this weekend at Monmouth and
Knox colleges when the 20th annual Pizza Hut Basketball Classic tips
off.
The Pizza Hut Classic is also sponsored in Monmouth by County
Market Food Store and in Galesburg by Econo Foods. Together, the
businesses are providing free admission to the eight games Saturday
and Sunday.
The Fighting Scots and the Prairie Fire will host women’s teams
from Rockford College and Wartburg College and men’s teams from St.
Ambrose University and Robert Morris College (Chicago). Game times
Saturday are 5 and 7 p.m. Games Sunday will begin at 1 and 3 p.m.
On Saturday, the Scots women will host Rockford followed by the
men hosting St. Ambrose. Sunday’s schedule finds the women playing
host to Wartburg, followed by the men entertaining Robert Morris.
