MC’s Norman earns MWC Performer of the Week honor Release Date:

 MONMOUTH,
Ill. –
Monmouth College junior Cole Norman (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods) created
three turnovers Saturday and was rewarded for his efforts with the
Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week honor.
Norman picked off two passes and forced a fumble as Monmouth
defeated Illinois College 26-23 in overtime. The cornerback’s second
interception of the day came at the Monmouth one-yard line and
stopped a potential winning drive by the Blueboys with 39 seconds
remaining. He also forced a fumble that was recovered by the Scots.
A business major, he is the son of Mark and Judy Norman of
Peoria.
