10,000-meter run, Heather Hull in the high jump and Megan
McKenna who was runnerup in the long jump and pole vault.
Monmouth’s men
brought home one individual crown on Opening Day. Senior Dan
Higgins’ provisional distance in the javelin took first. His
throw of 193’9” won by nearly a foot.
Sam Cokinos

placed second and Lumzy was third. Damon Bautista gained
second-place points in the 1500-meter run.
The Scots placed
10 women and 11 men in nine out of a possible 10 events for
tomorrow’s finals.
Monmouth’s men

women the last four.
