MC’s Frantz named MWC Performer of
the Week

 An unbeaten week playing at No. 1 singles for Monmouth
College’s Cassie Frantz (Macomb, Ill./Macomb) vaulted the sophomore
to her second career Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honor.
Frantz helped the Fighting Scots to a 3-0 week with convincing 7-2
wins over league schools Knox and Ripon and a 6-3 victory over St.
Ambrose. She did not lose a set in improving her record to 5-4.
Frantz teamed with classmate Brittany Donnelly to post a 2-1 record
at No. 1 doubles. Her 5-1 record for the week was equaled only by
her doubles partner.
A math major, she is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Kerry Frantz
of Macomb.
