Run For Your Life


This is a semester long individual program where if you complete any of the following you  earn a T-shirt.
 

  • 37.5 miles of swimming

  • 150 miles of running

  • 300 miles of roller blading

  • 300 miles on elliptical

  • 450 miles of bicycling

  • 700 miles of walking

 

Participants may complete a combination of these four activities for an equivalent of 150 miles of running.  The equivalent distances are as follows:
 

  • 1 mile swimming = 4 miles of running  
    (36 Laps RB Pool = 1 mile)

  •  2 miles roller blading = 1 mile running

  • 2 miles on elliptical = 1 mile running

  • 3 miles bicycling = 1 mile running

  • 4 miles walking = 1 mile running

Individuals  keep track of their miles on sheets located in the Trotter Fitness Complex
