WELLNESS PROGRAM

The mission of the Wellness Program is to enhance the healthy development of the mind, body, and spirit of members of the campus community through physical exercise, health and fitness awareness, and recreational activities in a well maintained environment.

Schedule of Events

Personal Walk Through of the Trotter Fitness Complex
 
Aerobic Kickboxing/Pilates Class
Cost: $10
When: Tuesday and Thursday 7-8pm for 8 weeks beginning Sept. 11th
Where: Dance Room of the Trotter Fitness Complex
Sign-up begins August 28
th  in the Trotter Fitness Complex  
Must pay at time of sign-up

Attendance Incentive:
Attend 90% of the classes this semester and you will receive a T-Shirt 

 

Yoga

Learn and experience the health benefits you gain through yoga.
When:
Thursday 5:15-6:30pm
Where: Dance Room of the Trotter Fitness Complex
Sign-up begins August 28
th  in the Trotter Fitness Complex
Attendance Incentive:
Attend 90% of the classes this semester and you will receive a T-Shirt.

 
Run For Your Life
A semester long program with the goal to
complete a certain number of miles by doing a
variety of exercises. Click here for the miles required 
Upon completion of your miles you will receive a t-shirt.
Start keeping track of your miles immediately.  There is a binder marked “Run for Your Life” in the Trotter Fitness Complex with sheets for you to keep track of your miles. 
All participants are on their honor to record miles and completion dates accurately. 
 
Get Flex From Trotter

Do you want 10 Flex Dollars added to your account?
Every time you workout in the Trotter Fitness    Complex make sure you enter your name into the drawing.  Once a month a student and employee  winner will be drawn.

 
Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Look for these programs offered during October :

 Breast Cancer Awareness Speaker

 Breast Cancer Awareness Informational Handouts
·
 Wear Pink in support of those who have battled or are battling Breast Cancer
 

 
Blood Drive
Knox vs. Monmouth Blood Drop Challenge
October 22
nd 1-7pm in the Lower Level of Stockdale
Everyone who donates will get a Free T-shirt
Whichever campus collects the highest percentage of blood is the winner. So help save lives and beat Knox.
Sign-up will begin October 1st  online, in the Trotter Fitness Complex or in Stockdale
 
Great American Smokeout
November 15th
Sign-up November 5
th-13th online and in Stockdale
Everyone who sign the pledge to stop using tobacco   products for the day will receive a package to help them stop using tobacco.
 
Hand Washing Awareness Week
December 3rd-7th
The Trotter Fitness Complex will distribute giveaways  during the week.
 
Stress Relief
Stress relief activities like massages and crafts will be     offered during the day on October 9th and December 4th. This is a joint program with the Association for Student Activity Programming.
